    This is an original Italian 2 folio (39x55) for Roberto Rossellini’s 1950 masterpiece, Stromboli, starring Ingrid Bergman. It is in very fine condition on linen. I have collected the finest Italian posters for over 20 years years and this may be the most beautiful one I have ever seen. The artwork by Cesselon captures the heartbreak and despair of a woman trapped in a loveless marriage on the barren volcanic island of Stromboli. It is overwhelmingly gorgeous in person! It has sold for ,500 at auction and you can see why. It is one of the greats!
