Porcelain Grandma and Grandpa Dolls-finest collector quality you will ever see!!

Hello fellow collectors...Offered from my doll collection is the finest pair I have ever seen in 50 years.  Purchased in Charlotte around 1980 from the son of the maker.  His mom only made 4 sets as they were so detailed and consumed so much time to make.  All had to be perfect.  In 1980 there were only 3 sets he knew about and this was the last and best he got from the estate when his mom died.  Some how he knew only two sets remained intact and I now owned one of them.  Appraised in Wisconsin at ,000 in 1982...Have they gone up or down...who knows when there is only 1 or 2 sets only.  Over the years I have looked at hundreds of pics of sets and have never seen another one like this set.  The dolls are signed and have a hang tag included.  Dolls are stored 10 ft. high on a shelf and without a ladder I can't measure or see name on tag.  If you are truly interested and need artist name I might be able to have a neighbor help me. The detail on each is beyond description as the moles,veins, hairs etc. are so true to life...Comes with the nice bench they are both sitting on.  Good luck as you will not ever see another set like these!!
