Kelly J Rubert AEL 2002 23" Porcelain Adorned Asian Doll #440 Amazing detail.  This beautiful porcelain doll Stands 23" tall from the headdress down to the feet. Every detail of this doll has been well crafted. She has layers of clothes and garments which are all given over to that detail.  Throughout her kimono, front and back silk sash, silk undergarments, boots and  headdress you will find silk, fabric,  frill,  metal,  jewels,  numerous ornate trim throughout from her Kimono to her front sash around to her back sashed and her under garment silk matching material down to the ornate boots and up throughout the intricately designed headdress.   I am unsure what nationality she is to represent but I am leaning toward Indonesian, Malaysian or Singapore perhaps. Maybe somebody out there might know more detail about this doll. I have never seen one quite like this.   she is  in great condition with only very mild signs of wear which are not noticeable. She comes from a pet free smoke free home. Has been kept in storage for over a decade. She is in great condition and has been protected as such. Please see the pictures for full details.
