The tray is used for topical application of fluoride gel.
The material (EVA) allows for some flexibility of the tray, making it easier to adapt to the dental arch.
The double arch Maquira allows better retention of fluoride gel inside the tray, and increases contact with the teeth. Its shape allows the application of the double fluoride in both upper and lower, saving time and greater patient comfort.
Topical application of fluoride arch is recommended to stay especially for greater contact between fluoride / enamel, enhancing the action of fluoride.
