Description

This is LADY JANE by Thelma Resch.  She is an exclusive porcelain collectible doll made for The Designer Guild, in the Imperial Gem Collection.    She is #1 in the Lady Series of 6.  Her head, hands and feet are porcelain.  Her body is stuffed cloth.  She is 32" tall.   She is #1241 of 2000 made in the year 1993.    She is dressed in a Victorian style soft pink colored gown trimmed with rosettes, ribbon, lace, sequins and beads. Underneath her gown is a slip, bloomers, stockings, shoes, 2 mesh skirts with petticoat.  Her accessories include a matching hat with lots of details, a detachable train/cape, & an umbrella/parasol (does not open).  COA is included in her original box.   The box is large and the doll is heavy.
The face sculpt is by Thelma Resch; The costume is designed by Patricia Loveless.  LADY JANE is a picture of Southern charm and opulence.
The original owner did display her once in a while, otherwise she was stored in her original box.  She is in lovely vintage condition.
