Because the box shows water damage, I opened just the top of the box to see if the doll was fine. Thank goodness, her box protected her. She is wearing a sailor's hat, which does not really show up in the picture. I did not remove her from the box. I think the doll is in new condition, but I don't think you would want to keep the box. The last picture shows what the manufacturer is depicting her as.
